Complex, layered and concentrated with alluring aromas of apricot, white peach, almond and Asian pear. Full-bodied and beautifully textured. The grapes for this wine were farmed biodynamically which is organic plus more care and attention.

Reviews and Ratings

Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

this beautifully crisp white wine is a great way to start the evening or to enjoy on a sunny patio! Marcel Deiss is one of these "perfectionist" winemakers, where he takes organic winemaking to crazy levels by growing his grapes "biodynamically" - absolutely *no* chemicals are used, he takes extra special care of his soils, maintains the vineyards by the lunar calendar, introduces only natural predators for vine maintainance... AND manages to make a surprisingly complex and delicious wine for the price point! Marcel Deiss has been called "soil obsessed", believing that the terroir is the single greatest factor affecting the grapes and resulting wine, and as a result has made this wine with a blend of "signature" grapes from Alsace earth: Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Beurot, and Pinot Noir. Give a it a try - you'll be amazed!

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
