This is Ontario's most popular rose, and it offers so much pleasure. Lovely and light-bodied aromas of strawberries. Dry and refreshing and mouth-watering. This is a Niagara blend of Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir and Gamay grapes. Pair with grilled seafood or chicken.

Food pairings: hors d'oeuvres, pastas, pizzas, ham, poultry, salmon or trout.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Consistently delicious, flavourful.and versatile! Aromas of ripe strawberry, cherry amd watermelon. Medium bodied, with medium+ acidity, with rounded, ripe berry on the palate and a hint of citrus zest on the finish. Blended from Cabernet Franc, Gamay and Pinot Noir, this wine would pair with salmon, pork or grilled chicken.
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Admirers of southern Ontario Rose will enjoy this unoaked offering from Malivoire. Juicy and fresh. Striking salmon colour. Although this Cab Franc, Gamay and Pinot Noir blend was aromatically shy, its dry, medium bodied palate was beautifully expressive, showing generous ripe strawberries and red cherry flavours. Overall a splendid product from this region. Enjoy.

From the Niagara Peninsula wine region, an intense and vibrant rosé wine blend of Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir and Gamay grapes. Delicious and food-friendly with ripe strawberry, cherry and watermelon flavours on the palate. Enjoy with grilled chicken dishes. - Community Wine Reviews
