Mint, eucalyptus and blackberry on the nose of this wonderfully attractive Australian red wine blend of Cabernet and Shiraz grapes. Full-bodied and fairly smooth. Pair with roast beef. Juicy and savoury with fleshy, lusciously ripe black plums and blackberry. This robust Australian red wine is a beautiful blend of Cabernet and Shiraz grapes. It's layered, rich and round. Pair with a rare steak.

Cabernet Shiraz food pairings: meaty chilli, game meats, hard cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A big Cab-Shiraz blend loaded with blackberry/black currant jamminess, vanilla and spice; just enough acidity and tannins to balance it. This one sings out for roast beef or steak!
Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Alex: Expressive nose displaying plenty of eucalyptus, coconut husk, blackberry pie, blackcurrant and camphor. Loaded with sweet black fruits, but with enough freshness on the palate to not come across as syrupy. Silky texture, and the alcohol is fairly in check. One of the better fruit-driven Aussies at this price. 87 pts
