Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Light and bright. Bright strawberry and cherry on the palate. Some pepper and light spicy notes come through on the palate along with some light tannin. This wine would be great with a variety of food, but could be great with lamb or richer pork dishes.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Aromas of dark plums, dried herbs, and spruce-bough. The taste is full and smooth, carrying through with the same notes as the aroma, as well as the classis Carmanere green-ness. This wine screams for lamb.
Cherie Cole rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby with purple hues, this Carmenere is showing very well. Gorgeous aromas of dark cherry and sweet baking spice. Medium-full body great balance between acidity and tannins. Great finish of dark fruit with a hint of black pepper. Tasted November 29, 2015.
Terry Jeans - Certified S rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

From Magnotta's own vineyard in Miapo Valley. Nice aromas of dark fruits, cedar, and smoke. Good balance of acidity, fruit and decent tannins. I would pair this with a red meat, something that can handle this full-bodied Carmenere.
