A lovely dry sherry for after-dinner sipping. Don't relegate this wine to cooking only... please. Toasted almonds, clementine zest and dry toffee notes.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

From Spain's highly esteemed Lustau bodega, a lovely dark amber Amontillado Sherry with aromas of burnt toffee, orange rind, dried fruit and herbs. Rich layered satiny palate with more pronounced herbal coriander and orange, evolving into extremely long buttery toffee finish. Not like the better-known dessert Sherries, this is best appreciated served around 12 C. and enjoyed with beef consommé, medium cheeses or scallops in cream sauce with fennel.
Tasted Feb. 2017
This dry sherry is a pleasure from start to finish. Orange zest and roasted nuts on the finish. - Community Wine Reviews
