A lovely, mouth-watering rose with ethereal small strawberry notes. Although it's off-dry, the sweetness is barely perceptible with the racy acidity. Perfect for grilled seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Beautiful brilliant rose gold colour, 11.5% abv. Blood orange, canned mandarin orange, a hint of ripe papaya. Dry, with crisp tart citrus notes. Mouthwatering, great acidity, well balanced fruit. Drinking well on its own and would pair well with summer salads, shellfish, baked white fish dishes, citrus glazed chicken, Asian fusion dishes. A sure crowd pleaser and accessibly priced. Patio season friendly, beach, seasonal festive gatherings will surely fit. Tasted May 2017. 91 points BespokeTastings
Julian Park rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Fruity aroma of freshly picked strawberries. On the palette a refreshing and minerally Rosé with gentle fresh acidity and residual sugar of 11 g/L.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous faint pint colour, with crisp red apple, pear, and small wild strawberries on the nose and palate. Lunessence’s Blanc de Noirs is very refreshing and accessible making it ideal for enjoying throughout the summer and into the fall with your seasonal meals. Tasted May 2017. 89 points. This is a rosé blend that was pressed without any skin contact. It consists of 80% Cabernet Frank and 20% Pinot Noir. The grapes were hand picked on 27.09.2016, with both varieties grown to make rosé wine. After pressing and natural fermentation, the wine was ageing on lees for four months and another four months in stainless steel tank before bottling. The result is a refreshing and minerally rosé with gentle, fresh acidity and residual sugar of 11g/L.
