Full-bodied Chilean Cabernet at a great price! Offers seductive tarry blackcurrant and cassis aromas and flavours on the nose and palate. Finishes with blackcurrant and cedar brush. Pair with a juicy, rare steak or pepperoni pizza.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: juicy, rare steak, barbecued ribs in sauce, hamburger, hard cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Lise Charest Gagne rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Great value cab from an excellent region (colchagua). I'm learning that Chilean wine is a fraction of the cost of any Cali cab especially if you know the great regions and this is a perfect example! Notes of floral dark plums. It's savoury with balanced acidity and plums without being jammy minus herbs. Great gang wine with some good steak! Highly recommend for the wing it dinner parties! Stock up!
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

An outburs of plum, dried herbs and a touch of lavender will tempt your senses for more from this Luis Felipe Edwards, Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2015. From the renown Colchagua Valley in Chile, this young Cabernet Sauvignon will repeat flavors of plum, fern and black tea. Fresh with a short finish, this medium bodied wine will please with spicy food. Enjoy.

What a great price for this full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon. Luis Felipe Edwards Gran Reserva 2015 is produced from grapes sourced from the Colchagua Valley. Look for ripe brambleberry, smoky spices, earthy flowers finishing long. Tannins are soft and easy. So much to love at this price. - Community Wine Reviews
