Natalie's Score: 90/100

This robust red is a blend of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Garnacha grapes. It offers attractive aromas of dark fruit, just enough oak, and dried herbs. There's a real savoury note mid-palate with a full-bodied weight. Very balanced with a lovely, long finish. Pair with rack of lamb.

Tempranillo food pairings: hamburger.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A garnet red blend of 95%Tempranillo and 5% Garnacha, with a fragrant nose of cherries and slight oak. The ripe palate shows dark berries, vanilla, oak, herbal touches and sweet tobacco. Very dry with tannic pull on mouthfeel and a long dark berry finish with a touch of mocha. Perfect with roast leg of lamb smothered in rosemary.
This Spanish red wine is mostly made from the country's classic red grape Tempranillo, but there's also a splash of Garnacha grapes. This robust red wine was matured for 1 year in French and American oak. - Community Wine Reviews
