Natalie's Score: 92/100

Full-bodied Argentine Cabernet Sauvignon with black smoky fruit and a deep core of richness. The ripeness of the fruit is a terrific example of the long ripening season the Mendoza region enjoys. Terrific toastiness as well from judicious oak aging. Perfect for grilled meats, hard cheeses and charcuterie.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled thick cut steaks.

Reviews and Ratings

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby with interesting aromas, including wet stone, graphite, blackberry, and smoked meat. It hits the palate with some fine, sandy tannins and medium acidity, and follows with flavours of dark cherry and blackberry. The wet stone even comes through in the taste. A great wine for rare steak of course, or hard cheeses.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Lovely aromas of blackberry, cassis and cigarbox. Medium bodied with some hefty but smooth tannins. Dark fruit flavours with a long finish. Great match for a rare prime rib dinner. Tasted Oct. 2/2016
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Full-bodied Cab with luscious mouth-filling ripe blackberry, black cherry, spice and leather. Well-structured with savory tannins and acidity underpinning the lot. Tuck a few away.
