The Burgundian estate of Louis Bouillot was one of the first wineries in the region to create sparkling wine, called Crémant de Bourgogne, back in 1877. Crisp and clean with toasty warmth and green apple refreshment. Pair with fried chicken. A toasty Crémant de Bourgogne with great texture and mouth-filling weight. Nice crisp finish.

Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Great value. Apple fruit on the nose and palate, with less yeast than expected from the 3 years on lees. Quite crisp, but has a hidden note of sweetness to balance. Nice dry bubbly at a nice price.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Fresh and elegant Brut sparkling wine made from 100% Chardonnay grapes selected from different areas within Bourgogne. Lovely apple blossom and citrus aromatics, with complex palate giving rich brioche notes. Fine persistent mousse and lingering brioche and citrus flavours. Elegance and quality without hurting your wallet.
This bubbly is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes and is therefore a blanc des blancs (white wine made from white grapes). Lovely finish of warm bread and brioche. - Community Wine Reviews
