Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A gorgeous lightly coloured and dry rose from Nova Scotia. Made from Pinot Meunier with a small amount of Pinot Noir (6%). Split between old French oak and stainless steel for a balance of freshness and roundness. Subtle cherry, white peach, minerality, floral, and saline stylings on the nose. Tart, dry, and round with crisp acidity and a light body. The finish is long and complex with fruity, floral, and mineral accents coming and going. Perfect pairing for local seafood and shellfish.
Neil Phillips rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Note: The listing says "rose", but this is L&W's Pinot Rose, which is distinct from their regular rose...

Predominantly made from (Pinot) Meunier, pale salmon in colour. The nose is tart cherry and cranberry.

On the palate, laser-like acidity combines with a saline note to make this a super food match. My mind was somehow thinking of a "rose Assyrtiko"? Fruit is present and lithe, all the same tart red fruits and slight Meyer lemon. Quite complex.

Tasted August 2020.
Philippe Perreault - Sommelier rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

This wine is made of Pinot Meunier (94%) and Pinot Noir (6%).

Very clear rose/gray (Onion skin color) color with notes of toasted bread and orange peel.

This is a light-bodied wine who's excellent to match oyster or any kind of seafood or
relax in the pool while sipping a glass of this wine.
Serve it at 6-8 degrees
Ready to drink.
