Ultra-mouth-watering: cries out for food, from grilled pork chops to roast chicken. Leather, dried herbs and black cherry. Love this! Full-bodied but not heavy and very smooth. I'll be buying a case. Bring it!

Food pairings: short ribs, grilled steak.

smooth dry. like a chianti
Derrick rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Had this with spinach & ricotta cannelloni and chicken parmesan - wine tastes bigger than its price. Could hold its own with an even more robust meal. I went out and bought 6 more bottles!
The Cirò region typically bestows full-bodied, robust and flavourful wines that, modestly speaking, express little subtlety. Many producers are now experimenting with small oak barrel maturation, and producing ripe and fruity wines with an enlightening elegance and impressive balance. Our panel found this one quite elegantly styled. Source: Vintages Wine Panel , undated.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
