Winemaker Stéphane Vedeau lovingly brings forward luscious fruit flavours that Syrah adds to this red wine blend from the Rhone Valley. Full-bodied and smooth yet it has terrific heft and concentration. Savoury with satisfying aromas and flavours of black cherry and cedar forest floor. Decant for 1 hour for maximum pleasure. This is a tremendous value for wine of this quality: perfect for parties and potluck gatherings. Attractive notes of black raspberry, violets and wild brush on the finish.

Food pairings: beef.

Reviews and Ratings

A powerful red wine from the Rhone Valley, with seriously rich and fleshy ripe brandied cherry aromas and flavours. Polished tannins with anise and blackberry on the finish. Although Grenache leads in the blend at 80%, there's also 10% Syrah and 10% Mouvedre grapes in the blend. - Community Wine Reviews
