How do I love thee? Let me count the ways and sips. Gorgeously textured with a seductive satin mouth-feel. Fleshy black cherry flavours dissolve in your mouth and release that sigh you’ve been holding in. The acidity is there but so woven into the luscious layers that you barely notice it except to appreciate that you don’t tire of this wine easily … or ever.

Pinot Noir food pairings: beef bourguignon.

Reviews and Ratings

Travis Oke rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

This is the wine you buy your boss if you want a promotion. Best local pinot noir I've ever tasted. The Cadillac (or Mercedes if you prefer) of Ontario pinot noir. This will last for years as the finish is already long.
From a strong Pinot vintage, the masters at Le Clos Jordanne have composed a beauty. Aromas of smoke, tilled earth, sour cherry, red plum, new leather and a hint of truffle. Dry, medium-full bodied, elegant yet quite substantial with prominent fruit and spice balanced by bright acidity and fine, youthful tannins.Culminates in a savoury, spice-kissed finish. Cellar it 3-5+ years, or savour a bottle this evening. Source: Vintages Wine Panel
