Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Green apple, bosc pear, toast, golden honey, and lemon zest. Tremendous mousse, clarity, and precision. 93 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Terry Jeans - Certified S rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Some of the typical champagne notes of biscuit, apple and apricot. Fine bubbles, with nice acidity and citrus flavors. Good as an appetizer on a special occasion with people that appreciate a little bubbly.
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Seductive aromas of pear, honey, and a hint of grapefruit zest carry through beautifully on the palate with very persistent fizz and a long buttery toast finish. Don't wait until the clock strikes midnight to crack this beauty open!
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Baked bread, toast, golden yellow apple, asian pear on the nose. Beautiful fine bubbles with a toasty apple finish. This would be a terrific Champagne to enjoy over the holiday season, or any day frankly! Tasted November 2014. 92 points. Matt Steeves - www.nataliemaclean.com
Greg Hughes rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This Champagne is always a tremendous value. The blend in it is 50% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay, and 15% Pinot Meunier. It spent three years on its lees and spent a further 6 months aging before it hit the market. The produce also claims that there around ten different vintages blended to achieve the final cuvee.
It's a pretty pale straw colour. The bubbles are persistent and tiny.
It smells of baked lemon pastry, macintosh apples, pineapple, and baking spice.
The flavours are very typical Champagne. Tightly wound acidity and minerality spring out at you. It's delicate and approachable. Tropical fruit, lemon curd, and honey.
Great finish. Don't overchill it.
Marie Louise Lanson de Nonancourt, one of the celebrated widows of Champagne, was also responsible for raising Laurent Perrier from the dead, after the First World War. Her husband perished on the front and she was facing a dilemma of not being able to provide substantial inheritance. She purchased a failing Champagne company: Veuve Laurent Perrier et Cie and began to reinvest in its renewal.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Brilliant pale lemon with lots of delicate mousse. Citrus, bicuit, apple, smoke, with a toffee after burn. Light-bodied, crisp acidity and long cleansing finish. Great aperitif or pair with high fat and salt cured meats. Dry. Serve well-chilled.
Tasted: November 2014
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Apple, toast and honey on the nose. Fresh apple, pear, biscuit and subtle toast on the elegant, dry palate. Fine mousse.
Santa, please drop this off at my house!
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Intense brioche notes along with some fresh pear, apple, apricots and hits of honey. Decent acidity, delicate mousse, light body and a long honeyed lemon finish. Drink on its own or try pairing with a big brunch - eggs bene, smoked salmon, fruit salad, bacon/sausages, scones, the works!
Tom Vigeant reviewed this wine as follows:

Pleasant yeasty and apple aromas. Lively acidity, notes of apples dominate, fairly long finish but lacks a bit of body.
Martha Kelly AIWS - CS reviewed this wine as follows:

Small persistent bubbles with floral, green apple, citrus, and classic biscuit complexity, the gentle mousse and refreshing acidity carry through on the refreshing finish.
Savour on its own or pair with delicate seafood or goat's cheese.
Drink now, or cellar until 2020.
Date tasted November 2014.
