Luxurious dark fruit aromas wrap around a pleasingly juicy, mouth-watering core. Full-bodied and smooth Italian red wine. The wine walks a lovely red line between nervy energy and voluptuous richness. Mocha and black plum mingle teasingly with your senses. You can skip that trip to Tuscany this year: just close your eyes and sip this wine. Pair with lasagna.

Chianti Classico Riserva food pairings: meaty pasta, beef stew.

Reviews and Ratings

This robust Italian red is produced in the centre of Chianti Classico region. The vineyards for Tenuta Lamole di Lamole are shielded from chilly north winds by Mount San Michele. The vines are also helped by the fact that they are planted with southwest orientation and at 350-550 metres above sea level. Good acidity. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
