Reviews and Ratings

Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A very full-bodied, refreshing and tasty cremant indeed. Persistent, fine mousse and quite a deep straw colour. Citrus, apple, toast, brioche and a lovely and lingering nutty-lemon finish. Great value!
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted April 18th at wine club. Very elegant to serve as a palate cleanser before our tasting. Hand picked Pinot noir grapes, straw colour plus, nice mousse. Aromas and flavours of cherry bread, apple, and hints of other fruit flavours. Good value, easy to drink sparkler try it with pastry apitizers.
Labouré-Gontard Crémant de Bourgogne is a lovely, dry, fresh and medium-bodied bubble produced in the traditional method like champagne. Zesty on the palate with a vibrant mousse of honeyed peach, caramel, ripe yellow apple and baked bread flavours, this Burgundian bubble is excellent chilled on its own as an aperitif or pour with seacuterie. Good now through to 2025. - Community Wine Reviews
This is a lovely Crémant de Bourgogne made from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wine grapes. Nice apple, brioche and marzipan nose on this elegant, rich and creamy sparkler made in the traditional method as in the neighbouring Champagne wine region. Great value for a bubble that pairs with everything. - Community Wine Reviews
