La Posta Armando 2022 is an excellent value Bonarda at $15. Produced by Laura Cantena, the wine is dry, medium-bodied, vibrant and silky with ripe blackberry, plum, dried florals, toasty spice and smoky flavours with a lingering spicy finish. Produced from sustainably grown grapes sourced from a 50-year-old vineyard in the Guaymallén zone and about 750 metres above sea level. A portion of wine was aged in oak barrels for eight months prior to bottling. Drinking beautifully now.

Bonarda food pairings: beef stew, barbecued chicken, turkey, duck breast.

From Laura Catena and grown by Estela Armando, La Posta Armando 2022 is an excellent value Bonarda at $17 and a great example of this juicy grape! Produced from grapes sourced from 50-plus year old vines planted in the Guaymallen area, 750 metres above sea level. A portion of the wine (30%) was aged in neutral oak barrels up to eight months. Dry, medium-bodied, vibrant and fragrant with pink florals it is fresh with red berry and spicy flavours on the palate. - Community Wine Reviews
