Reviews and Ratings

Rebecca Meir-Liebman - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Quite a popular Chablis, made from 100% Chardonnay. La Chablisienne cooperative winery was established in 1923 by a number of winegrowers in order to market their wines. Medium bodied, light straw coloured wine, unoaked Chardonnay, elegant and enjoyable; yellow apple, lime squeeze, pear and white flower notes with good freshness, high acidity and minerality on the finish. This Chablis comes from vines that are at least 20 years old and was matured on the lees (the dead yeast and other particles carried from fermentation). Great with fresh salads, and white fish served with creamy lemon sauce. A great wine to enjoy during lunch.
La Chablisienne Le Finage (2014) is a crisp, clean and vibrant Chablis with some salinity and minerality this wine and wine region is known to produce in its Chablis. Great value here from the Burgundy wine region. Pair this medium-bodied with laser-acidity Chardonnay with oyster poor boy sammies. - Community Wine Reviews
