So pretty! Juicy and mouth-watering with gorgeous lime-fresh acidity for shellfish and seafood. Green apple on the finish. Medium-bodied.

Chablis food pairings: oysters on the half shell, steamed mussels in their own juice, oysters Rockefeller.

Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A rainy May in Chablis led into a hot June with some stormy weather. Watered soils were dried out in the hot and dry July and August. The resulting grapes were riper and more generous than usual, delivering wines with youthful accessibility and ageworthiness of about a decade for many wines. Lower acidity and more expressive floral notes than anticipated, though still possesses classic green apple and lemon, medium body, and minerality. Perfect alongside oysters, shellfish, or creamy pasta dishes.
La Chablisienne Grande Cuvée (2015) is a premier cru Chablis from the Burgundy wine region. The medium-bodied Chablis is pale lemon-green in the glass with flinty, crunch green apple flavours on the palate and bone-dry. Pair with raw oyster and more raw oysters. Produced since 1923, the Chardonnay grapevines for this wine were planted in clay and limestone soils from the Kimmeridgian geological period on both banks of the River Serein. Drink now and for the next 10 years. - Community Wine Reviews
