After Italian producers, this Mexican winery is the world’s largest producer of wines made from the Nebbiolo grape. A mouthful of ripe berry and black fruit rewards drinkers of this supple, robust wine. Incredible concentration and depth. Pair with grilled meats. Incredibly great price for such quality and taste.

Nebbiolo food pairings: hearty meats, pasta in tomato sauce, cheddar cheese, risotto with mushrooms, beef braised in Barolo.

Reviews and Ratings

Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Lovely nose like a spicy bouquet of roses and violets with some vegetal undertones. Borderline extra-dry, medium body, with well-integrated tannins with lasting soft acidity. Lots of fruit on the entry, but with a short finish. Nonetheless, a really pleasant surprise for this New World modern style Nebbiolo from Mexico.
Philippe Perreault - Sommelier rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Beautiful garnet/purple color!

Aromas of plum, oak, licorice, spice and floral.

This full bodied wine is long on the palate and the tannins are grippy!

serve it at 15-17 degrees.
Can be aged 8-10 years.

Pair it with skewer of beef terdenloin and chorizo.
