Medium-dry with appealing peach-apricot notes. Lovely as an aperitif or companion to many dishes. Finishes with orange zest and light white floral notes. Perfect as an aperitif.

Pinot Gris food pairings: rich cheese, seafood, light pastas, grilled chicken and vegetables.

Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This Pinot Gris from Alsace has a lovely nose of freshly picked peaches, apples and apricots - the palate is light and crisp, with a hint of floral and orange zest on the finish. Lovely.
This Pinot Gris from the Alsace wine region is off-dry with soft, ripe stone fruit flavours. Kuhlmann-Platz (2015) is great on its own of with a spicy Asian dish. Easy to understand and drink. Grapes for this wine were sourced from chalky vineyards and vines averaging more than 20 years of age. - Community Wine Reviews
