One of the best nouveau wines year after year. This medium-bodied smooth red wine has remarkable character for being bottled so quickly. Attractive aromas of dark cherries. Some herbal notes on the nose, but these disappear on the palate. Great mouth-watering juiciness for roast turkey or chicken.

Ruby red, tart cherry, field berry, banana bread phenolics. Mouthwatering acidity, integrating medium tannins. This is a juicy red Beaujolais nouveau from the Fourth generation of the Drouhin family. Tasted Nov 2016, Immediately after release. Rated 87/100.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

From grapes to wine in one vintage and what do we get? Well, the Joseph Drouhin Primeur 2016 Beaujolais Villages Nouveau has intense notes of cherry cotton candy and banana puree. Enjoy this style of wine when released, no aging necessary. Tasted Nov 2016 - @sommsosa | bespoketasings.ca
