Reviews and Ratings

Nick Onischuk - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The Joseph Drouhin 2011 is a light to medium bodied pinot noir that features tart cherry, raspberry, and spice. Tasted November 2016 (89/100)
Astrid Young - Sommelier ISG CAPS rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Cotes de Beaune Villages - Enticing ripe cherry fruit up front, with hints of vanillin. spicy but light hearted, showing some sassy acidity on the mid palate which does nothing to quell he persistence of dried cherries, plums and even a hint of bacon. good with everything, drink it now!
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A classic Old World Pinot! This Pinot has a nice balance of aromas - fresh tart cherry, cranberries and subtle earthy elements (fall leaves, mushrooms). A light to medium bodied red with lively acidity, light to medium tannins and lasting tart cherry finish. Pair this wine with your favourite braises or stews; or (my favourite snack) a salumi/charcuterie platter.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

I love it when the aromas from a wine glass evokes an image. The first whiff from this glass and I pictured a pretty French countryside. Pale ruby turning garnet. Cherry and plums with earthy goodness. Light bodied and grippy. Sweet baking spices with vanilla and pepper, toast, cologne, violets, rose, herbs de provence. Nice Village wine. Pair with rabbit stew, pulled pork.
Tasted: November 2014
Tom Vigeant reviewed this wine as follows:

Classic, pleasant Burgundy nose. Lively acidity, light to medium body, some earthiness, spice and tart red berries. Well done for price point when looking for a classic style Pinot.
