A refreshing, come-alive Crémant with great displays of white pear and green apple crispness. This is an amazing price for this sparkling wine. In 2010, this bubbly won a gold medal at the prestigious competition, Concours des Vins d’Alsace. Great aperitif.

Reviews and Ratings

Kristin Perrin rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

Nose: Rose petals, strawberries and cream, rainier cherry, minerally, lavender
Palate: Strawberry, rhubarb, minerally, light to medium weight, fruit forward upfront, dry lingering moussy-finish, perfect palate refresher as an aperitif for the holidays!
Pair with: various creamy and soft cheeses, cured fatty meats, creamy seafood, poultry or vegetarian pasta dishes. Excellent value!
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Medium bubbles and a delicate mousse with light toasty white strawberries, watermelon, biscuits and melon rinds. Flavours echo much of this with some watermelon fruity sweetness and yellow plums at the back. Pair with smoked salmon canapes and soft cheeses. 92 points - tasted November 2018
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Pretty palest pink colour, but lively and fresh, with peach, lime, wild raspberry. This would be a great brunch wine, holding up to smoked salmon and cream cheese while cleansing the palate, or would also go great with an omlet.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Strawberry and floral aromas with some lime and biscuit notes on the palate. Nice consistent bubbles throughout. Great to serve as a pre-dinner sparkler. Tasted November 2018.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A fragrant and lively bubbly with intense raspberry and strawberry notes. It's drier than expected with a nice creamy mouthfeel and pairs very well with lobster rolls. Tasted Nov '18 by @sommsosa.
Simon Chen rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A lovely sparkling rose. It's toward the sweeter side but balanced nicely with lingering bubbles and acidity. I like the length of the bubbles in this wine that it doesn't fade too fast. A great party starter to go with all kinds of horderves.
Jennifer Carter rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Ripe fruit flavors, almost prune with green apple and apple flavors providing a fresh acidity. Small bubbles that fade quickly in the glass but you still feel them as you drink the glass.
Pam Hatton rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pale pink sparkler with restrained and elegant nose. Dry and crisp on the palate with some apple and cranberry. Great value for adding a festive flair.
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Aromas of cantaloupe and ripe strawberries. Flavours of strawberry, lime and cranberry.

This one is on the sweeter side so pair with food that would stand up to the sweetness. Spicy food would be perfect. Also could be great at your next brunch!

From Alsace Joseph Cattin Crémant d'Alsace Rosé is made in the traditional method. Pretty salmon colour in the glass, this is an extra-dry crémant with sweet red berries, lemon zest and soft spicy flavours creamy on the palate. - Community Wine Reviews
