Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby nearly opaque colour, this is a big incredibly rich wine with ripe dark berries, smokey BBQ sauce, leather and baking spice. This is a wine that is built for long term cellaring (20-40 years). If you can't wait that long, you'll be impressed with this perfectly balanced ripe California Syrah. Enjoy 2015-2055. Tasted April 2015. 95 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
The 2008 vintage of La Sangre de Jonata is a blockbuster red wine with notes of anise and pencil lead made from 98% Syrah and 2% Viognier grapes. The wine was matured in oak barrels, of which 50% were new. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
