Wow, just love this smoky, Old World Sauvignon Blanc produced by Jean Pabiot & Fils from the Loire region. Smoky with citrus, grapefruit zest, white stone fruit, light herbal and grassy notes finishing with a flinty almost briny minerality. Pair with raw oysters on the half shell, fresh-steamed shrimp with a squeeze of lemon juice or smoked, butter-sautéed sea scallops.

Pouilly-Fumé food pairings: pan-seared scallops with grilled asparagus, cheese, pasta with cream-based sauce, sushi.

Domaine Des Fines Caillottes 2018 Pouilly-Fumé is an Old-World Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire wine region with the typical smokiness and racy acidity this region gives to its wine grapes and wine. Look for bright citrus, celery, fine herb, smoky and briny mineral flavours mouth-watering on the palate. Enjoy now and for the next four years. - Community Wine Reviews
