Reviews and Ratings

Rebecca Meir-Liebman - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Intense and robust with evident tannins, this blend of Grenache and Syrah has an interesting combination of vibrance and freshness with a round, ripe fruitiness. It has rich, cooked raspberries, balckberries, plum, anise and black tea on the palate with a smooth, complex development. A deep wine that needs to be accompanied with big dishes. The finish is long and mouth watering. Quite exceptional especially considering its price point!
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This blend of Grenache and Syrah has abundant dark fruit on the nose and palate. Tannins are well integrated. At 14.5% alcohol it is a bit hot on the long finish. This is a substantial wine that will pair well with hearty beef dishes. Very good value. Tasted Nov 15, 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
From the Rhône wine region, Jean-Luc Colombo Le Pavillon Des Courtisanes 2016 Cairanne is fragrant with bright raspberry, red plum aromas on the nose. Dry with ripe plum, red berry and anise flavours on the palate. Enjoy with roast chicken. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
