Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

SunRock Meritage is a unique blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon from the Sunrock Vineyard in the beautiful Okanagan Valley. Deep ruby red, the nose is very expressive, which is typical of premium Okanagan reds. Dark berries, black sage, plum, and baking spice on the nose. Full bodied and built for ageing, this is a big wine with big characteristics done in a refined style. Enjoy this unique wine with prime cuts of beef, and decant for one hour prior to service. Tasted April 2015. 90 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A lovely deep ruby red blend from Canada's Okanagan Valley in Bristish Columbia. Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon are harmonized and bring lots of dark fruit, blueberry, baking spices, oak and smoke along with a long cherry vanilla finish. The tannins are integrating and the acid-fruit is balanced. Always like to taste BC wines when we get the chance in Ontario. #freemygrapes
Pair with grilled red meats, smoked meat sandwich, roasted lamb shank. Decant 1 hour or more.
Tasted: May 2015
This BC red wine is a blend of 47% Merlot, 36% Cabernet Franc and 17% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Firm tannins and lots of oak. - Community Wine Reviews
