A gorgeous Tuscan red wine made from the Sangiovese grape. Aromas of fleshy ripe black plums, berries and toasty oak with mocha on the finish. Full-bodied and supple. Pair with roast beef.

Food pairings: rich meat pasta with richer tomato sauce, roasts, blue cheese, osso buco.

Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

What complexity to the nose!! Black cherry, sweet spice, floral, earth and oak. On the palate - equally complex with perhaps more prominence to the oak. Age me 2 years for maximum pleasure.
Molino Di Grace Gratius 2010 Italy is a rich and robust red blend of 95% Sangiovese and 5% of Colorino & Canaiolo sourced from single-vineyard old vines grown at 500 metres above sea level in the Tuscany wine region. This wine is rich, elegant with ripe red cherry, anise, cold tea and cake spice flavours on the palate. The winery is named after a 19th century historic windmill located on the property near the cantina. The vineyards themselves have existed on the property for over 350 years. There is an ancient Etruscan path that winds its way through the vineyards. Enjoy now and for the next three years. - Community Wine Reviews
