A juicy Chianti Riserva to go with that favourite meat pasta and rich tomato sauce dish that Nonni made on Sundays. Floral with sweet tobacco notes on the nose, ripe dark fruit, cherry, and dusty herb flavours on the palate. Easy to enjoy.

Chianti Classico food pairings: rich tomato and roasted Italian vegetables sauce over penne, beef stuffed tomatoes and peppers, vegetarian lasagne.

Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Cherry, sour cherry, raspberry, savoury herbs, and perhaps a hint of mint? Tannins possess a fair grip, bright acidity waters the mouth, and a generous medium-plus body rounds out this nicely built wine. Ripe dark fruits emerge in the nose and on the palate with decanting. A touch rustic and true to style, deserving of a place on the family dinner table. Hold onto for two to three more years and serve with wild boar ragu.
Wednesday night wine to pair with pizza and lasagne. Il Molino Di Grace 2014 is full-bodied Chianti Classico from the Tuscany Wine Region. Easy to enjoy with its well-integrated velvety tannins. Elegant red berry, dried herbs underbrush and cedar spice flavours on the palate. - Community Wine Reviews
