Beautifully made (and consumed!) Bursting with aromas of exotic rose petal, lychee and baking spices. Medium sweet but balanced with lots of acidity. Perfect with curries, Asian dishes and a get-you-out-of-your-rut aperitif. Finishes with rosewater notes. Pair with medium curries and spicy dishes.

Gewurztraminer food pairings: mildly spiced Thai, Indian cuisine, curries, Asian dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This Gewurtztraminer from Alsace, France is a beauty! Its inviting delicate nose with rose petals and lychee is followed by a rich perfumed palate with more rose, lychee and a touch of lemon zest. Good acidity and a subtle rose petal finish.
This robust, mouth-filling French white wine is made from Vieilles Vignes -- old vine -- Gewurztraminer grapes. The 2013 vintage offers a good balance of spice, fruit and acidity. The nose is well developed with fresh cut almond and rosewater. - Community Wine Reviews
