Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is a terrific sparkler from Hester Creek Estate Winery. Made in the Prosecco-style, Charmat-Martinotti method, Ti Amo 2020 is fresh and lush with a delicate and persistent mousse of ripe orange blossom, white peach, lemon curd, anise spice and a briny mineral finish. The wine is medium-bodied, off-dry and a zesty blend of hand-harvested Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer grapes, cool-fermented in stainless steel tanks keeping aromas and flavours fresh on this pretty, pretty bubble. And, at 11.7% abv, treat yourself to two glasses of it. Beautiful now, chill and enjoy on its own or with brunch dishes. Tasted June 2022.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Done in Charmat style, this sparkler is fresh and pretty, with aromas of white florals, pear, and peach with just a touch of honey. Light, vibrant and refreshing, with soft but persistent bubbles, and bright, mothwatering acidity. Quite dry on the palate, but just the tiniest hint of honeyed sweetness on the finish. Enjoy as a patio sipper, or would stand up nicely to fried calamari, or fish and chips.
