Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Coming to LCBO Vintages in April. Simply put, this wine is amazing. This is a low yield wine, meaning the grapes harvested are concentrated in flavours. Aromas include golden apple, pear, hazelnut, toffee, and fresh bread. Aged in neutral.oak, this wine is smooth, flavourful, and full of body and acidity. Full bodied, medium+ acidity, lots of fruit on the palate, and more soft, smooth notes and a slight sweetness on the finish. Enjoy with chicken, pork or white fish.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This is a big wine right from the get go! A complex nose with pronounced oak tempered by soft buttery notes. Even some underlying fresh citrus notes! A textured oaky palate, slightly 'gritty' in a pleasant way. Long satisfying finish. This is forceful wine but not overpowering. It would go with creamy garlicky dishes or old cheeses. Tasted April 2019.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Toasty and oaky nose with intense vanilla, cinnamon, and clove. Buttery with plenty of acidity to preserve freshness and food friendliness. Lemon and peach mix with creamy oak on the palate. Finish dominated by oak, spice, and butter. Calls for squash soup or turkey sandwiches.
This is an amazing Chardonnay - a low-yield wine meaning the grapes harvested are concentrated in flavours. Golden apple, pear, hazelnut, toffee, and fresh bread aromas on the nose, full-bodied with medium-plus acidity, smooth, creamy and satisfying on the palate. Aged in neutral oak. Pair with roast turkey or pork. - Community Wine Reviews
