Reviews and Ratings

Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Medium gold in colour with aromas of apricots, lychee and honey. It is elegant, sweet and well balanced with flavours of honey apples and tropical fruit. Enjoy this on its own or with a fruit cup or apple pie. Tasted on January 23, 2022.
Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This beautiful golden-coloured Late Harvest wine from Ontario has notes of ripe peach, crunchy green apple, candied pineapple, dried apricot, citrus (both clementine and lemon), marmalade, truffle, and caramel.

The palate follows the nose with the same notes found in taste. It is sweet, with just the right amount of tart and a luxurious mouthfeel. What a wonderful treat! Great price point for an opulent experience! Pair with soft cheese, goat cheese, or White Silton with apricot; or try with dessert such as an apricot-almond cake or marmalade thumbprint cookies.

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Beautifully balanced. This is a late harvest wine, so a bit fresher and brighter than icewine, but still with tons of flavour. Aromas of peach, pear and honey, with a hint of a floral note. Full bodied, smooth with a hint of ripe fruit as well as more rich and jammy fruit notes. A honey sweet and smooth finish. Enjoy with warm apple crumble.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A pretty pale lemony colour with aromas of citrus, guava, white blossoms, beeswax and quince. Flavours reveal buttery lemon mousse, white peaches and baked golden apples. Mouthwatering, with a hint of jolly rancher candy. Well balanced with tart acidity, medium body and finish. The acidity is well pronounced so the sweetness is not as noticeable. This will pair nicely with honey roasted almonds, freshly baked apple pie or any medium spiced Thai or Asian dishes. Enjoy!
