Gorgeous! Full-bodied, juicy and alive with vibrant black fruit flavours. Black cherry, anise and cassis with just the right amount of savoury oak. Dried herbs and longing on the finish. Bring more quickly please.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

One word to describe the range of wines from H&B is "tactile". These wines have grip and polish. The St.Chinian stands out with blackberry, cherry, plum skin, fruit pit, licorice and some fresh herb. The oak is very well integrated at this point (2017). 92 points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Sarah Tracy rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

As my Southern affair continues, this Syrah dominated bottle shows expressions of schist like minerals and subtle hints of soft oak and ripe Okanagan black cherries. A glass of the H&B St. Chinian delivers a pleasingly rugged and earthy finish. Yum!

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
