This fortified Spanish dessert wine is made from the Pedro Xérès grape. It exudes nutty, toffee, spicy and dried fruit aromas. Light acidity and voluptuous texture on the palate with a long finish. Harveys has a long history and was commissioned by Queen Elizabeth II as the offical supplier to the palace. Harveys started off with Bristol Milk, then produced this richer, sweeter version, thus the name "cream." Perfect for nutty cheeses and fruit-based desserts.

Sherry food pairings: black forest cake, trifle, chocolate torte.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Consistent and tasty! Aromas inclide caramel, toffee, raisin and toasted nuts. Rich and full bodied, smooth on the palate with a nicely balanced sweetness and a lengthy finish. Enjoy after dinner instead of dessert or with a cheese plate.
