Classic BC Gewurz with aromas of lychee, rose petal and baking spices. Full-bodied and delicious. The 2014 vintage of the Gray Monk Gewürztraminer has a lovely pale golden hue in the glass. Finishes with Asian pear, lychee and roses. Perfect for Asian dishes, curries and spicy dishes.

Gewürztraminer food pairings: fried herb-crusted and panko trout, chickpea lentil pea and potato curry, pizza with pork sausage.

Reviews and Ratings

This BC gewürztraminer is produced by Gray Monk winery who has been making this style for more than thirty years. This Okanagan white wine should be enjoyed chilled. Winemaker George Heiss Jr. & Roger Wong bring the most out of this BC VQA white wine. In 1998 the Heiss family was honoured with the Founder Award from the Okanagan Wine Festival Society. - Community Wine Review

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
