Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This one is not a light Merlot - good weight of flavours and body. Plush fruit with ample oak beautifully applied. A touch of smokiness along with vanilla accents. Seductive. With food or without. Gift this one confidently.
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

I'll never complain about this wine. Just what you need to tuck into on a cold Friday night. Lots of black cherry, milk chocolate, camphor, melted liquorice, macerated plum, vanilla and chalky mineral. 90 Points.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Rich, densely concentrated mocha, blackberry layers with cigar box and savoury. Well structured, with a solid backbone. Fine medium plus tannins, inky mouthfeel, medium acidity. Paired well with vegetarian chili. Tasted 2015 vintage in November 2018. 90 points
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Lots of spicy notes on this plush and full bodied Merlot. Aromas include cigar box, cedar and vanilla with some berry notes. Lots of smoke and spice on the palate. Enjoy with a rare steak, lamb, of prime rib.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Ripe cherry aroma on the nose with cherry, cedar, chocolate and some licorice on the palate. Pair with a flat iron steak. Tasted November 2018.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Rich and dense aromatics and hefty on the palate - dark, ripe blackberry, black currant, dark chocolate, sweet spice, charcoal and leather - this is one burly Merlot. Enjoy with lamb shanks in a red wine reduction. Tasted November 2018
