A classic floral Viognier from southern France by one of the region's best-known producers. Aromas of clementine, apple blossom and honeydew on the nose. Lemon zest and mouth-watering on the palate. Medium- to full-bodied. Intense and lovely. Great for Asian fare.

Viognier food pairings: grilled shrimp, lobster, crab cakes.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Beautiful tart apricot and peach notes sing out on the aromatic nose of this French Viognier from the Midi IGP. The palate shows more tart tree fruit and floral rose petal touches, with a dry, very satiny mouthfeel. Long elegant finish. Definitely one to buy again.
Bill Wright Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Floral, melon and honey are so inviting. Melon and honey on a very clean pallets. Medium fruit finish.
Valérie Dufour - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Nice aromas of ripped apricots and white flowers. Very floral retro. Short, but refreshing and well made. You drink that and you feel like you are next to a pool. Very summery. Fun. Not expensive. What's not to like?
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

100% Viognier, and displays characteristics as such. Lots of peach, honey and orange blossom on the nose. The palate is ripe and full of flavor, exuding a certain elegance. Well suited to many seafood dishes, or on its own.
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Floral, fruity and fun! This 100% Viognier grape boasts honeydew melon and citrus on the opening and closing, with a hint of bubblegum in the glass. A super value.
Cherie Cole rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Very aromatic with fragrant wild rose petals, honeydew melon, ripe peach and red apple. The palate is very clean and crisp with flavors of peach, lemon and a mineral finish. Tasted January 31, 2016.
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A great Viognier at a great price…
Presentation: I like the bottle, the red emblem stands out.
Appearance: Light yellow
Nose: White peaches, lychee
Taste: Pleasant, white peaches, lychee, some citrus in the back, a little toastiness, balanced, nice acidity.
Finish: Again, pleasant, toastiness that emerges more strongly.
Overall impression: Very pleasant, well balanced fruit with acidity and alcohol. I will definitely drink this wine again, probably with some white sauce pasta or risotto
Value: 4.5 out of 5
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Lovely aromas of orchard blossoms and stone fruit. Smooth, peach and honey on the palate. Enjoy with a spicy stirfry.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Floral and stone fruit notes on the nose. The palate offers melon, honey and peach flavors. Nice and refreshing overall, good for sipping on a summer day.
Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Pale gold, lovely nose of citrus, melon, honey, ginger, spice with floral accents. Medium bodied, pear, white peach and light spice on the palate with a bit of heat on the finish. Try with sushi.
Tasted January 2016
Cora Beaulieu rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This Viognier is pale yellow in color. Less buttery than I would have expected, but still creamy (and dry.) With intense aromas of white (exotic) flowers, tropical fruits, peachy and honey notes on the nose. It has a nice body. This wine has a well-balanced palate; fresh acidity and rich with tropical fruits, dried apricots, ripe pear, peach, orange peel and citrus fruits, hazelnuts and honey notes. Enjoy as an apéritif or with seafood.
Réserve Spéciale Gorgeous! Intense and aromatic with orange zest and honeysuckle aromas on the nose. Lemon dry and mouth-watering on the palate. Medium- to full-bodied. Intense and lovely. Great for Asian fare. OTHER: ANDREW BERNARDO WINE JOURNAL rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review: In warm vintages, this wine is all about unctuous tropical fruit, and has a massive potassium/banana note. 2011 is different. A wet and cold July was followed by a warmer fall, but allowed for more hang-time for the fruit. The result? The classic tropical fruit is there, ripe stone fruit, dark agave, but with a more lively acidity than the 2009 and the 2010. This is a classic for scallops with rich sauces. I'm 88+ on this wine. (ottawawinejournal.com) - Community Wine Reviews OTHER: Very forthright aromas of apricot, honey, herbs, and grapefruit. The palate is medium-bodied and equally unabashed with expressive honey, herbal and fruit notes and a crisp acidity. Rich, ripe and balanced, this is a very nice Viognier. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, June 2012 - Community Wine Reviews OTHER: Floral, with delightfully engaging honeysuckle and tangerine tones with underlying pineapple and tropical fruit. The palate is well-balanced and creamy with a simply lovely richness. Soft peach and citrus tones emerge alongside the honey notes in the mouth. Crisp, fresh and a great value. Wow.
