From the south of France a zesty Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah rosé with the emphasis on Grenache, and ideal for rosé because it matures easily and quickly, has vibrant aromatics, yet keeps its zesty acidity for food. Elegant, dry, medium-bodied and very satisfying with wild strawberry, ripe red berry, rose petal. citrus zest and light herb flavours on the palate. The bottle for this rosé was created in a competition for students at design schools in Paris. There is actually a rose shape cut into the glass on the bottom, as well as an elegant glass stopper on the top.

Rosé food pairings: seared tuna, sushi, seafood nebayaki udon.

Reviews and Ratings

finevines90 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Dewy roses erupt from the ballet pink vin. On the palate watermelon and strawberry. Vanilla candy and grapefruit round out the finish. Medium body and a soothing mouthfeel.
Vanda Jackson rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This lively light pink dry rosé from the South of France dances on your palate to deliver beautiful acidity, fruit and floral notes. It is a blend of three varietals - Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah. Enjoy floral notes of roses and peonies and peach and strawberry aromas. It is the perfect summer wine for BBQ season and pairs particularly well with fish, seafood, and sushi.

Not only is the wine wonderful, but the bottle is also equally impressive. Designed by a student at a Fine Arts college in Paris, France, the bottle has a lovely glass stopper and rose design on the bottom. A lovely hostess gift or for anyone in your life that enjoys wine. And don't throw away the bottle before checking out some great DIY ideas on Pinterest. Salud!
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Always a great option, every vintage of this wine is a crowd pleaser for sure! Aromas of field strawberry, orange blossom and lime with a hint of minerality. Light bodied on the palate, with mouthwatering, vibrant acidity, fresh red berry flavours, and a zesty citrus and mineral finish. Enjoy with any fresh shellfish or some charcuterie and cheese.
Gérard Bertrand Rosé is a dry, medium-bodied and zesty blend of mostly Grenache with some Cinsault and Syrah. Fresh with wild strawberry, orange blossom, fresh pear and lime zest aromas and flavours on the palate finishing crisp on a mineral note. - Community Wine Reviews
