Reviews and Ratings

Julia Kelada rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a classic Chianti that has released its 2011 vintage.
On the nose there are the classic red cherries, blackberries. Floral notes of hibiscus flower and oak tones with vanillas undertones.
On the palatethere are red cherries with blackberries and logan berries married with a delicious red currant note. Herbacious border and thyme herbal notes. Subtle tones of oak and tobacco leaves intermingle. Chocolate steps forward and then a gracious vanilla note. Velvety tannins and then a black pepper spice on the finish.
Bottoms up!

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
