Reviews and Ratings

Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Beautiful light salmon colour with aromas of honey and cantaloupe. Dry with flavours of white grapefruit well balanced acidity.

This wine would be terrific for your next brunch!

Tasted May 6, 2018.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Beautiful Tuscan rose made from a blend of Syrah and Vermentino, placed in a uniquely shaped bottle. The pale coral colour reveals an alluring bouquet featuring soft apricot, strawberry and sea driven minerality. Flavours are sublime; mandarin citrus, cherry, strawberry and melon. Medium plus acidity, medium body and finish with hints of pink gala apple and raspberry persisting. Refined and refreshing. A good accompaniment with smoked salmon canapes, soft cheeses and antipasti dishes. 91 points - tasted January 2018
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A fantastic patio wine…
Presentation: An interesting, short, stubby bottle.
Appearance: Pale salmon
Nose: Light nose with notes of white peach, grass, minerals (limestone), and green apple
Taste: Dry, medium body, low-medium acidity, low tannins, with notes of white grapefruit, tangerine, citrus rind
Finish: long, citrus rind finish
Overall impression: A refreshing rosé for the patio, for contemplating life on a deck by the lake. Pair with poultry, pork, salad, or grilled vegetables.
Value: 3.5/5
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

According to their website the word "Alìe" is a fabled sea nymph that inspired the winery. The bottle and colour alone would entice me to buy and try! Pale pink in colour - the aromas are anything but pale. Intense red berries, spice and some floral notes with fresh acidity. A blend of Syrah and Vermentino. This would be an excellent summer lunch wine! Tasted May 6/18
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Pretty with wild strawberry, apple, hint of lime zest. I love rose in the spring! Would go well with goat cheese, honey, walnut on baguette; would also go well with a salad of bitter arugla and fresh berries. Rose all day!
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Beautiful pale colour, but with a nice aroma of field strawberries, watermelon, and a touch of honey. Dry, with a hint of that honeyed note on the palate, as well as a bit of subtle minerality mingle with the berry flavours. Great balance, perfect for any summer afternoon on a patio, and could also pair with pork, salmon, and summer salads.
Simon Chen rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

It might be very light in color but it's very flavorful! A nice balanced of strawberry, acidicty, and finish A nice sipping wine with friends in a conversation but not so good to pair with food.
Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Light salmon in colour with aromas of strawberry, honeydew melon, green apple, spice and minerality. It is dry, medium-light bodied with mouthwatering acidity and has flavours of pink grapefruit, tart green apple and a touch of white pepper spice. This will pair well with soft and medium cheese, salads, pork of chicken dishes. Tasted on May 6, 2018.
Greg Hughes rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A pleasant rose from the heartland of Chianti. This wine is an I.G.T. and you can be quite sure the included varietals are Bordelais with maybe some Sangiovese.
It's a pale colour, like Provence style roses. Dusty pink.
Aromatically, there is some dried herbs, chalkiness, grapefruit, and cherries.
Fresh and crisp flavours on the palate. Gala apple, cherries, citrus, and a lingering struck match character.
Best when not overchilled.
Put this with rainbow trout done on the barbecue.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier reviewed this wine as follows:

Quite the crowd pleaser... before I could a nice bottle photo it was three-quarters gone!

This IGT Toscana Rosé not only attracts folks with its interesting short wide-bodied bottle shape and blush peony pink appearance but with delightful flavours and a home run feeling of relaxing good times.

It's dry and crisp. Aromas are moderate with floral and field strawberry notes while the palate showcases tangy blood orange and wild raspberry flavours. You'll enjoy making new friends at summer garden parties, cottage weekend getaways and neighbourhood block parties with this rosé. It pairs well with salads, grilled meats and veggies.
