A firm grip on the palate with this full-bodied South African red wine so decant 1-2 hours. This wine is made from the classic grape Cabernet Sauvignon. Balanced, bold, with lots of black fruit flavour. Pair with a rare, juicy steak.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Fabulous value here. South African Cabernet Sauvignon that offers an elegant fruity flavour. Powerful aromas with a nuance of serious yet fun flair. Medium density, light staining tears with - bouquet full of cherry, red plums, hints of middle forest tree trunks and gamey leather. Flavours are surprisingly lighter tasting - with strawberries ripe red apples, cassis and touches of vegetal fennel. Also a keen grip of mineral and graphite touches and peppery spices. Medium plus acidity, body and tannins. Quite well balanced! Begs to meet up with rosemary lamb chops and roasted onions. 88 points - April 2018
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Lovely and a great value. Lots of red berry, leather, spice and earthy, forest floor notes. Full bodied, with robust, firm tannins, and some ripe red berry on the palate. Enjoy with grilled beef or game meats.
