Softly sweet with a floral, soft citrus nose, Twisted is a summertime wine blend of 61% Riesling, 31% Gewurztraminer and 8% Chardonnay. Flatrock's Proprietary white is so easy to enjoy with fresh pear, grapefruit, lime-lemon zest and flinty mineral flavours on the palate. Great acidity for food pair with sushi, salads, quiches, or chill and enjoy on its own.

Food pairings: fish tacos, crab cakes, pan-fried panfish.

Reviews and Ratings

Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Another fine offering from Flat Rock Cellars. Their riesling, gewurztraminer and chardonnay blend opened with rich citrus, white grapefruit and honeysuckle scents that introduced a welcoming medium bodied palate populated by layers of sweet tangerine, white grapefruit and subtle honey flavours. Delicious. Crafted from hand harvested grapes grown in Ontario’s Niagara Peninsula appellation. Enjoy.

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Lovely and refreshing!! This is a crowd pleasing blend year after year, with a floral nose along with some hints of grapefruit and lime zest. Bright acidity, and a hint of sweetness on the palate, with lots of vibrant fruit as well as a mineral note coming through on the finish. Enjoy with grilled calamari, or other rich seafood dishes.
From the Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Escarpment Wine Region, Flat Rock Twisted White is a fun, light and summertime white with ripe stone fruit, pear and light tropical fruit flavours with a lingering flinty mineral finish. So pretty on the nose as well on this Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Chardonnay white wine blend. Chill and enjoy on its own or pair with grilled calamari and fish tacos. - Community Wine Reviews
