Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is an easy-to-love 100% Malbec as is its price. Produced from estate grown grapes from vines over 1200 metres above sea level, the wine is appropriately named Altosur meaning "high in the south", Altosur 2021 is vegan-friendly and is as rich on the nose as it is on the palate, dry, medium-bodied and plushy with fresh violets, mulberry, cocoa, dark plum and savoury herbs fresh and lingering on the palate. Very nicely done! Drink or hold. Tasted November 2023.
