Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Pale - leaning on medium gold in colour. Super interesting nose - lots of flowery shrubs, tart fuzzy peach, citrus and lots of herbal notes - chives and onion spiciness. In the mouth this evolves with bright punchy flavours, lemon, fresh cut grass, almonds and nectarine stems. Also an interesting granite mineral note here too. Very sandy with a touch of sea brine present. Medium body and finish. Medium plus acidity. Very round with a bit of oiliness. Dry, different and dimensional.
Feudo Maccari 2015 is a crisp white wine made from 100% Grillo white wine grape. Also known as Riddu and Rossese Bianco, the white wine grape can handle hot summer temperatures. Grillo is used in making dry to sweet wine styles, in particular, for making Marsala. The grapes for this dry white are sourced from vineyards in Sicily from vines 20 years old on average. Wine is aged in stainless steel. - Community Wine Reviews
