Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Pale lemon green with aromas and flavours of citrus, apple, pear, nectar, a touch of floral. The palette lends some minerality and sweet spices. Fresh acidity. A lengthy clean finish. Bourgogne offers some great values and often overlooked. This is one of those wines.
Opens up nicely in the glass. Roasted turkey, chicken or pork.
Tasted: December 2014
Terroirs Originels, the old Chateau of Pierre Filant is a family estate purchased by the Fellot Family in 1829. The winemaker Emmanuel Fellot now practises sustainable viticulture using organic fertilizers from his free-range cows and ploughing the soils with his horses. This wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes farmed in the Godlen Stones area of southern Burgundy and was aged entirely in stainless steel tanks. Yellow and green citrus on the nose with lots of acidity on the palate. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
