Dark ruby red. 13% ABV. Tart and tangy, dry, balanced. Wild strawberry, black peppercorn and baking spice. Fine medium plus tannins, medium plus acidity. Pairs well with roast beef. Tasted 2016 vintage in June 2017. 89 points.

Medium ruby colour, with rich and vibrant bell peppers, cassis, dark plum, cooked strawberries and leathery chocolate. Flavour are big and full with raspberries, brambles, prunes and spices. Very well rounded with a sweet fruity finish. This is an ideal barbecued burger wine!

Featherstone 2016 is a great value, mouth-watering Cabernet Franc from the Niagara Peninsula wine region. Lovely, ripe black plums mixed with generous blackberry, crushed raspberry and smoky vanilla flavours on the palate.
