Wow! The 2012 vintages still tastes young in 2018 - this wine has staying power for your cellar. Only six barrels of this Cabernet Sauvignon wine were made. The wine was aged an extra year in barrel on top of the usual regime for Cabs. Aromas of black plums, blackberries and smoke. Pair with grilled meats.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

This is lovely! At first I got some evergreen aromas on the nose, but it seemed to dissipate after a while, showing more currant, raspberry, spice and cedar. Full bodied, with some smooth tannins, and a nice balance of fruit, spice and a hint of leather coming through on the finish. I love on the label this says "Best after Dec 2019". I'm a little early (March 2019) but it's very delicious nonetheless. Enjoy with a grilled steak or rare prime rib.
